Nicola Bokaba started Earthy Cook in 2016. She learned woodwork from watching tutorials online. She bought small tools and started making mafehlo (traditional pap-making whisks) from her garage. As her product range grew, she decided to move her company into a factory in Ga-Rankuwa, north of Pretoria. Earthy Cook makes hand-made, personalised and customer branded products for the home and the hospitality industry.
